Orick is located on Highway 101 is 40 miles north of Eureka. It was once the center of of over 30 lumber mills. Orick is now almost surrounded by the Redwood National Park and State Parks. Orick is minutes from the Lady Bird Johnson Grove & Nature Trail.
Orick is know for its beautiful valley with Roosevelt Elk, Gold Bluffs Beach, Lost Coast Creek, Fern Canyon and its old growth giant redwoods.
